This brand three part series, Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King offers exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to one of sports most flamboyant and controversial characters Tyson Fury and his larger than life family. Giving viewers an unprecedented insight into the life of one of the most fascinating and controversial figures in British sport.

Filmed over several months, Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King follows the Gypsy King and his nearest and dearest as he aims to fulfil his dream of becoming the heavyweight boxing champion of the world as he prepares to take on his arch-rival Deontay Wilder for a second time.

The series combines a warm and at times emotional family saga with raw and unflinching scenes of Tyson preparing for the fights against Tom Schwarz and Otto Wallin to reveal the most complete and intimate portrait of the Gypsy King ever seen.

Abraham edited Episodes 1 and 3 and was additional on Episode 2. He loved working with current subject matter and is happy to see it has had such a big audience. It was challenging to get the re-match footage in time for Ep 3 but it all worked for a great episode.

Episode 3 which shows footage of last weekends fight is aired Thursday 5^th March 9pm ITV. Episodes 1 and 2 are available on here.

Netflix’s critically acclaimed F1 documentary Drive To Survive is back for a second season!

The focus this season will be on two drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel. The former is well-placed to become six-time world champion while Vettel has had a forgettable season so far. The onus will also be on Ferrari’s latest racing sensation, Charles Leclerc and Red Bull Racing’s Pierre Gasly who have made some impressive inroads for their respective teams. This will also be the first time Mercedes and Ferrari will make an appearance on the series.

Netflix  organised a special screening of the much-awaited Drive to survive season 2 in New York. It was attended by a group of media personals, McLaren driver George Russell and our very own Chris Duveen!

Drive to Survive Season 2 will be available from 28th February 2020.

This film looks at the once loving relationship between Thomas and Meghan as she was growing up. Filmed at his home in Mexico in October 2019, this documentary follows Thomas Markle as he reveals the story behind his dramatic fall out with daughter, Meghan. In the wake of the recent announcement that Duke and Duchess of Sussex have chosen to step back as senior members of the Royal family, cameras return to ask Thomas his thoughts on their decision.

Jayesh who edited the film said ”It has been a very exciting project to work on, especially given the very topical and fast moving nature of events over the past couple of weeks. At it’s heart, the film deals with a human story of a father and daughter whose once loving relationship has resulted in a complicated fallout. The fact that the father and daughter happen to be Thomas and Meghan Markle makes this story even more extraordinary”.

The Repair Shop – Alex Marsh and Hugo Fowler have worked  on this lovely series which shines a light on the wonderful treasures to be found in homes across the country. Shortlisted in the ‘Best Daytime Programme’ category. Ricochet for BBC One.

Drowning in Plastic – Matt Lowe edited this important documentary which follows Liz Bonnin as she investigates the scale of the plastic crisis in our oceans. Raw TV for BBC One. Shortlisted in the ‘Best Documentary’ category.

Brian Johnson- Life on the Road- Dan Stewart edited 2 episodes of this series which see’s one of rock music’s iconic and tour-hardened frontmen, Brian Johnson, gives us a brand new and exclusive take on one aspect of the rock and roll life. Shortlisted in the ‘Best Music Programme’ Category’.

8 Days: To the Moon and Back – Duncan Hill edited this Feature-length drama documentary telling the real story of the Apollo moon landing mission as it happened.  BBC and Theatrical Release. Shortlisted in the ‘Best Single Drama’ category.

The 2019 Rose d’Or Nominees have been announced. The shortlist was voted for by 60 international judges made up of media industry professionals, chaired by The Bridge star Sofia Helin.

We are delighted to see that The Repair Shop has been nominated in the Reality and Factual Entertainment category. Congratulations to the team at Ricochet. We are excited to see 8 Days: To The Moon and Back has been nominated in the Drama category. Duncan Hill edited this Feature-length drama documentary which uses dramatic reconstruction, declassified cockpit audio recorded by the astronauts and film archive to tell the story of the first moon landing.

The series is made up of three episodes edited by the wonderful Charlie Hawryliw. It follows Professor Adrian Raine and Dr. Vicky Thakordas-Desai as they investigate a trio of convicted murders who submit themselves to a ground-breaking sociological, biological and psychological investigation to determine whether they truly had control over their actions.

Episode 1 premieres tonight 9pm on Channel 4 and will be available to watch on All 4.

Another amazing night at the Griersons Documentary Awards this year. The honourable Judge Robert Rinder was a witty and gracious host.

A huge congratulations to Matt Lowe who edited the winning film in Discovery’s ‘Best Natural History Documentary’: Drowning in Plastic and to Ella Newton who edited ‘One Day in Gaza’, nominated in the Getty Images ‘Best Current Affairs Documentary’.

This year’s Griersons Trustees’ Award winner was Channel 4’s very own Head of Current Affairs and News, Dorothy Byrne. This nomination recognized her unwavering honesty and praised her inspiring journey in media and constant fight to bring relevant and contemporary issues to the attention of the greater public by commissioning and supporting such programmes.

Home Free follows a group of young people with learning disabilities as they leave home and move into supported living apartments. Living independently for the first the time, the new housemates will take a major leap in their lives with extraordinary access from the families. The observational documentary promises joy, laughter, new friendships, blossoming relationships and even tears and heartache.

Mohsin Bhatti, who edited two episodes said: “It was a joy and privilege to be allowed to tell the story of this group of 20 somethings transitioning to their next step of adulthood. Docs like these rarely come through the door and I feel extremely lucky to have been involved documenting their lives.”

The first episode of the series will air on Monday 18th November on Channel 4 at 10pm.

In September 2018 the legendary Diego Maradona became Manager of the second division Mexican football team, Los Dorados de Sinaloa, who were bottom of the table. Last seen misbehaving at the World Cup in Russia, dire predictions were made when Diego, famous for his addictions as well as his football, descended on Culiacan, home to the world’s biggest drug cartel. (Just two weeks ago its streets were taken over by cartel gunmen.) With astonishing access to Diego and his players, the changing room and the town, the films are a study in passion in all its forms.

Each episode is centered around something we all love — like trainers or ice cream — as Jeff pulls the thread on these deceptively familiar objects and unravels a wonderful world of astonishing connections, fascinating science and history, amazing people, and a whole lot of surprising big ideas and insights.

Jamie Williams who worked on the Coffee episode said “what was most enjoyable about the project is how disarming Jeff is as a host – he really breaks the expectations with his inquisitive approach to every subject. It was a great team to be a part of with a really freeing attitude towards editing which made finding the fun in the material a joy”.

Paul Holland and Desiree Ivegbuna also worked on the series.

The World According To Jeff Goldblum will air on the Disney+ streaming service from the 12^th Nov.
